Jamielas Journey

Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.”

1 Timothy 4:12

The past year has been quite a journey with the Lord, and my whole YWAM (Youth With A Mission) experience has been full of ups, downs, lefts and rights. It all has been worth it though! I decided to do a blog because so many crazy events have happened, and keeping record of those events are significant. As well as this blog is a great way to keep everyone updated on my happenings.

Why YWAM?

My Heart For International Missions

Heartbeat DTS

Heartbeat DTS Team

Starting May, 2019, I’ve been doing a Discipleship Training School (DTS) with YWAM in Scotland. The school was a mobile DTS, so I have been travelling all across Scotland learning about Jesus and spreading His love to others…

The Lord has taken me on quite an adventure through this YWAM experience. I have been finishing my DTS in Seamill, Scotland since September, 2019.  I was given the opportunity to stay and complete the rest of the Lecture Phase…

Just when you thought I’ve experienced it all, my adventure continues!! As you all know, I was given the opportunity to continue my YWAM work in an outreach location outside of Scotland. Unfortunately, I was unable to travel to this location on December 13th…

Dreams and The Lord

On the Heartbeat Discipleship School over the summer, I had the opportunity to learn about dream interpretation (like Joseph in the bible did) and had an opportunity to practice. Ever since then my fellow trainees and I would practice on each other’s dreams and find out what God was telling us through them. I believe God speaks to us in many ways and dreams being one of them. During the Sonship Discipleship School I got to interpret a few of my other fellow trainees dreams and help give tips & pointers on how to interpret dreams. I feel like this is a gift God has been growing in me and so I worked on it whenver I could. The outreach in 2020, I got to interpret a dream for a friend who lives there, and I was so surprised to see that God talks to those who don’t believe in Him, as well! He speaks to everyone through dreams, revealing His true self, people’s futures, His plans and so much more. It’s incredible! I have developed a passion for dream interpreting and hope to learn a lot more about them!
